Our History

After their residencies, Dr. Kate and Christopher Messana were invited to complete additional fellowship training at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio—Dr. Kate Messana for dermatopathology, and Dr. Christopher for Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology.

The two founded Elevated Dermatology and Skin Cancer Surgery Center in 2017 to be the premier dermatologists in the Denver, CO area. With the addition of Dr. Zachary Jones in 2020, Taylor Douhitt PA-C in 2022, Dr. Melanie Wolf in 2023, and Amanda Webb PA-C in 2024, we now have four board-certified dermatologists, 2 board-certified physician assistants, and a team of aestheticians to care for our patients for both medical and cosmetic concerns.
